This free training course covers Virginia Housing’s underwriting and processing requirements including: eligibility, programs, and forms. This allows our Originating Lender underwriters and processors to complete it at their own pace versus attending a live webinar training that isn’t always conducive to your schedule.

The training course is engaging and interactive, including knowledge checks and an assessment at the end of each section. A certificate is issued upon completion of all sections.

Virginia Housing continues to require that underwriters and processors complete training to process and underwrite Virginia Housing loans, either through this new on-demand training course or register for a live training webinar.

In the future Virginia Housing intends to add more on-demand training courses on different subjects or lender roles, and we will communicate when they’re available.
