We know how important it is to come together and discuss issues affecting the affordable housing industry. That’s why we offer two free conference center locations to help you carry out your mission.

Conference Centers

  • Virginia Housing Center

    The VHC Conference Center is located within the Innsbrook Corporate Center, 4224 Cox Road, Glen Allen, VA 23060. The two-story 37,873 square-foot facility is a state-of-the-art meeting and conference center with a subdividable space that can accommodate up to 300 people. Other spaces include two (12-capacity) meeting/breakout rooms; one (14-capacity) video conference room; and a large (32-capacity) board room with an adjacent annex.

    All reservations must go through the Conference Center Liaison. Use this site to familiarize yourself with our spaces and request a room reservation. All Virginia Housing staff must access the SharePoint site to submit a room reservation request.


    What We Offer

    Whether it's a small department meeting or a larger public forum, the Virginia Housing Center (VHC) is here to host your group! The on-site center liaison will arrange the seating plan to meet your specific requirements and help you choose the space with the appropriate capacity for your event from our selection of available rooms.

    Beyond the use of the room itself, Virginia Housing Center also offers:

    Catering

    All food and beverage items must be supplied and prepared by our third-party catering vendor, Eurest. You can work directly with Eurest to view their catering menus. The menus serve only as a sampling of their catering abilities. The Executive Chef will be glad to assist you in developing a customized menu for your needs and specific budgetary requirements.     Reserving Space

    Requests will be considered based on the type of organization making the request, the meeting purpose, the number of attendees, the activities to be conducted and the required preparations.

    • Virginia Housing Outreach Partners - an organization or company that has a relationship with Virginia Housing that is not housing-related

    How to Book
    External requestors can access the online Reservation Request Form to request space. Virginia Housing staff must access our internal SharePoint site to make their request.

  • Southwest Virginia Housing Center

    Located in a historic landmark in downtown Wytheville, our office offers two conference center rooms for groups of four to 49. This is an ideal setting for your conference, workshop or small group meeting.

    Seating can be arranged to meet your needs, and the larger room is fully equipped with projection equipment and screens, network and internet connections, electronic whiteboards and a conference phone.

    To make your meeting as convenient as possible, this facility also offers:

    • Full barrier-free accessibility
    • On- and off-street parking
    • Smoke-free environment (smoking is permitted in designated areas outside)
    • Assistance in arranging for food and catering services

  • Additional Considerations

    Some fees may apply. While the meeting rooms at both locations are free for our housing partners, fees will apply for any food services or on-site catering required. Fees may also apply for special services such as additional security or specific janitorial services. Our meeting managers will discuss your specific needs and provide you with a cost estimate prior to your event(s).
