JLARC Report on Affordable Housing in Virginia
JLARC (Joint Legislative Audit and Review Commission) conducts program evaluation, policy analysis, and oversight of state agencies on behalf of the Virginia General Assembly. The duties of the Commission are authorized by the Code of Virginia. A study of Virginia's affordable housing needs, the state's efforts to increase housing affordability, and effectiveness of the state's housing assistance programs was recently conducted.
