Habitat for Humanity Dedicates Two New Homes in Richmond
Back in the fall, 28 Virginia Housing associates participated in two Habitat for Humanity builds on 17th Street in Richmond’s south side, just off of Hull Street. The houses were recently finished, and a dedication ceremony took place on Tuesday, March 26.

Virginia Housing announced its PDC Housing Development Program in 2021, allocating $40 million dollars across the 21-member network to support regional approaches to housing projects and program development.
Virginia Housing Finances a 100% Affordable Housing Development in Woodbridge
In late February, Standard Communities broke ground on the Jefferson Plaza Apartments in Woodbridge, Virginia. This development will comprise 240 total units, with 147 one-bedroom and 93 two-bedroom units distributed across three stories. All units will be restricted to residents making 60% or less of the area median income.
Virginia Housing Names Tammy Neale CEO
Virginia Housing today announced that Tammy Neale has been named Chief Executive Officer, effective April 1, 2024. Neale is a longtime executive at Virginia Housing with 39 years of service. For the past three years, she has served as Chief of Programs.
